Kenneth E. Hodgson

Kenneth "Kenny" E. Hodgson, age 75, of Evansville, Indiana passed away at home on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 surrounded by his wife and children. Kenneth was born January 9, 1947 to the late Raymond Eugene and Virginia Fern (Lamble) Hodgson. He graduated from Mater Dei High School in 1965 and served his country in the Air Force from 1965-1970. Kenny was a member of the IBEW Local #16 for 37 years and retired in 2007. While stationed in Tacoma, WA he met the love of his life, Sally Marie (Bjerkeset) and they were married for 52 years. They have three children, Christopher (Brandy) Hodgson, Stephanie (Nick) Wargel, Melissa (Jerrad) Gleim; 8 grandsons, Travis, Kyle, Luke, Griffin, Riley, Tate, Ryan, and Andrew; and life long friends, Steve (Marilyn) Weigand, Bob (Linda) Schneider, Billy (Jimmie) Diehl. Kenny enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and his grandsons. He and his wife did a lot of traveling and camping when the children were young and they have wonderful memories from all those adventures. In recent years he enjoyed family trips to the beaches in Alabama, Georgia and Florida. The entire family will miss his very dry sense of humor and quick wit.
