John David Daugherty

John David Daugherty, 81 of Evansville, IN passed away Friday, August 9 2024. He was born in Evansville, IN on May 5, 1943 to the late John and Lillian M. (Payne) Daugherty. John retired from Deig Brothers after 20 years of service. He enjoyed going to the casino and being with family. He was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter, Cynthia Bogan. John is survived by his wife of 64 years, Joyce (Goldsberry) Daugherty; daughters, Debbie Bogan (Michael) of Chandler, IN, Karen McKenzie (Lewis) , Rhonda Coleman (Roger) and Donna Dillard (Roy Wallace) all of Evansville; grandchildren, Jamie Gooch David Gooch, JoAnna Gooch, Crystal Altidor, Shannon Coleman, Westly Coleman and Nick McKenzie; and nine great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at Alexander Memorial Park, 2200 Mesker Park Drive., with entombment to follow.
