Janet Elaine Rodgers

Janet Elaine Rodgers, 57, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017. She was born February 20, 1960, in Evansville, to the late Bryce and Maggie (Foster) Rodgers. Her smile would light up the room, she was very outgoing, and everyone loved her. She was an avid Seattle Seahawks fan, loved blue whales, and cake decorating. She loved her job, was always willing to help anyone, was a strong willed, independent woman, and a wonderful and supportive mom and grandmother. Janet is survived by her children, Jennifer (Travis) Montgomery, Natalie (Jason) Powell, Michael Powell, and Kristie (Michael) May; fur baby, Wilson; grandchildren, Dani Montgomery, Xander Mayse, and Greyson Reed; brothers, Alan (Sheila) and Dennis (Linda) Rodgers; sister, Joanna (Alben) Shockley; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Friday, March 24, 2017, at Alexander Memorial Park in Heritage Chapel. Family and friends may visit Friday from 11:00 AM until service time at the cemetery.
