Jack Crocker, 81, passed peacefully in his sleep March 30, 2022. Jack was born in White Hall, IL July 18, 1940. The family moved to Evansville, IN during Jack's high school years. He graduated from Bosse High School. After high school he served in the Illinois National Guard before beginning his career in finance. He retired from Wright Motors in Evansville. Jack's stories of his childhood involved farm life, dove hunting, working with his father at lumber mills and teenage antics with friends. Jack loved fishing, yard work and sports, particularly the New York Yankees.
He met his wife Patrice in 1979 and was devoted to her until her death in 2021. His parents, Maxine and Jackson, older brother Bill and his wife Marylou, and step-daughter Pam also preceded him in death.
Jack is survived by his three children, Cindy Crocker Bleth, Samantha Crocker Forman (Charlie) and Jackson "JQ" Crocker (Suzy), his brother Bob Crocker, sisters-in-law Lorna Guimond and Kim Doom, brother-in-law Arn Guimond, stepson Nathan Murphy, grandchildren Jessamy Patton (Lee), Zachary Bleth (Erin), Jacob Bleth, Mercedes Bleth (Alex), Nicholas, Gabriella and Isabella Pappas, Quentin, Cody and Kaitlyn Crocker, Ashley Hines and Ryan Murphy, great-granddaughters Cheyenne and Cora, nephews Steve and Dale Crocker, Mike Guimond (Angie) and nieces Karen Blair (Leon) and Christine Curtis (Mark). He was loved by many friends as well.
Jack was well known for his sharp wit and fine sense of humor. He loved a good prank, sharing jokes and could always captivate an audience with his wonderful stories. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at a later date.
