George Moreland, 73, of Evansville passed away November 22, 2021. He was born April 3, 1948 in Joplin, MO to the late Floyd and Ida (Mayes) Moreland.
He enjoyed repairing vintage electronics and photography. George worked at Star Television in the mid-1970s where he provided technical and repair services. He spent the next 29 years of his career at Qualex where he worked as a maintenance technician. In 2009, George retired from Tech Group Industries.
George was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Glenda Carrol Moreland.
He is survived by his son, Anthony Moreland; brother, Floyd Steven Moreland; and sister, Margie Helen Huebschmann.
A memorial service will be held Monday January 10, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. at Alexander North Chapel. Friends and family may visit from 3:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
