Albert "Bob" R. Horton

Albert “Bob” R. Horton, 76, of Evansville, passed away Friday, January 17, 2014, at St. Mary’s Medical Center. He was born March 10, 1937, in Evansville. He was employed with Bootz Plumbing for 22 years and PSC Fabricating for nine years. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, and especially spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchild. He was a long-time St. Louis Cardinal fan. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Mildred (Diese) Horton; and brothers, Clarence and Donald Horton. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Helen Horton of Evansville; son, Robert "Bobby" A. (Tracey) Horton of Evansville; daughter, Lori (David) Dimmett of Evansville; grandchildren, David Michael Dimmett, Blake Andrew Horton, Haley Michelle Dimmett and Madison Nicole Horton; great-grandson, Parker Andrew Horton; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, January 21, 2014, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Pastor Tracy Gorman, with entombment in Park Lawn Cemetery.
