Robert W. Fuller Sr. (Bob), passed away peacefully at home with friends and family surrounding him on June 19, 2021 at the age of 90, just a month and a half shy of his 91st birthday. Born in Halifax, MA on August 9, 1930 to Charles R. Fuller and Marie A. (Harris) Fuller.
He leaves behind his wife of 65 years, Paula (Dovel) Fuller, Sons, Robert W. Fuller Jr..and his wife Peggy of Plymouth, MA and Charles A. Fuller and his wife Kathleen of Halifax, MA.
He was the proud grandfather of Sarah (Fuller) Marcolino of Hanson, MA, Cameron Fuller of Raleigh NC, and Christina Fuller of Plymouth, MA. And great grandfather to Mitchell and most recently Bennett, born June 11th, 2021!
His home was Halifax, MA but moved to Panama at the age of five with his family. He graduated in 1948 from Balboa High School, Panama Canal Zone, He served as an apprentice with the Panama Canal Company from 1948 to 1952, and returned to the US in 1953 when he enlisted in the US Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. He returned to the US in 1955 and married Paula Dovel. They returned to Halifax, MA, where he started a business, Industrial Patterns, for the foundry industry until he retired in 1990. He enjoyed salt water fishing and boating. He also was an avid skeet shooter and was an instructor for scholastic shooting sports at the Sarasota Gun Club. He and Paula moved to Florida where he enjoyed life, returning to Massachusetts in the summers to enjoy his children and grandchildren! His life centered around family always!
