I remember uncle Jerry as an adult in my life that made me feel welcome, comfortable, important any time I was at his home. Because my own dad was not around a lot after a divorce, visits at uncle Jerry’s were a time for me where the dad was there and a part of my visits laughing and joking with us kids and I always felt loved. I have such fond memories of those visits. And a big part was how uncle Jerry made you feel like you were somebody!

I am so sorry for your loss of your beloved Dad and Husband.  I  didn't know Jerry only from conversations with Phyllis and how much she loved him.  Her words tell us he was one special man..  He will live on through all of  you forever.

One of my favorite memories of Gerry is when I first met him many years ago.
.Your family was living in your home in West Kingston/Richmond.  Dean and I were just hanging out talking when Gerry walked into the room. He was laughing so hard he had tears rolling down his cheeks. If my memory serves me right, he was laughing at the fact that you had a Bose stereo and speakers in the bathroom. I remember him saying between laughter, “who has a BOSE stereo in their bathroom?! We do!!! Ha ha ha.  Dean and I couldn’t help but break out into laughter, not because of the stereo, but because his Dad found it so funny.  I knew right away, I would grow to love this man. He had the most contagious laugh of almost anyone I have ever met.
Gerry was a good man ❤️
