Robert W. Rose (Bob) age 85, of Ellenton, FL, formerly of Battle Creek, Michigan passed away peacefully at Manatee Memorial Hospital on April 3, 2016. He was a retired Senior Maintenance Supervisor at the General Foods, Kraft Post Foods Corporation for over 30 years. He was a veteran of the Korean War in the 172nd Fighter Bomber Squadron in the Air National Guard. Retiring to Florida in 1988, he and his wife Donna (Wright) Rose loved to golf, travel and boat. He loved to spend time and travel with his children and grand - children. Survived by his wife Donna, of over 60 years; his daughter Linda and her husband Gerald; son Steven and wife Virginia; and 5 grandchildren Samantha, Amanda, Victoria, Ashley, and Kyle; and 3 great - grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 8th, 2016 at 9:00 AM following with a service at 9:30 at the Groover Funeral Home located in Ellenton, Florida.
