Paul Scott Lemery

Paul attended Wheeling Central High School, graduating in 1971, and then received his Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education from West Liberty State College. He was in the XN Fraternity at West Liberty State College and was a referee for National and International wrestling. Paul traveled to Germany and France with Linsly Military Institute as the Wrestling team coach.

Wrestling and distance running was his early passion. Paul loved life and always liked to make people smile. He never knew a stranger and everyone loved his smile. He also loved being with friends at Southside Bar in Alexandria, VA.

Survivors include his wife, the love of his life, Cynthia Lemery, of Ellenton, FL; brother, Michael Lemery of Morgantown, WV; sister, Teri Kosmicki of Brighton, NY; aunt, Judy Saunder, of Wheeling, WV; step daughter, Ashley (Sean) O’Connor and stepson, Jacob Kasper; step grandchildren, Aidan Kasper and Colt Kasper; niece Mary Ruberti; and nephews, Jack and CJ Kosmicki. He was predeceased by brother, George Lemery, and his parents, Harry and Rita Lemery.

Paul loved his wife and he loved his family. Paul and Cynthia had a beautiful love and marriage and were very blessed.
