Karen Lee Arnold

Karen Lee (Graczyk) Arnold, age 72, of Ellenton, Florida passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 27, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer at Tidewell Hospice of Bradenton, Florida. Karen was born April 30, 1949, in Rochester, NY.

Karen had an uncanny ability to light up any room she walked into with her beautiful smile. Her outstanding personality, sense of humor, love of dancing, singing, and performing, all things purple and all things bling will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved her. Karen also loved crafting, floral designing, sunsets, traveling and was sadly planning a wedding anniversary trip with her husband to Hawaii when she was feeling better.

Karen is predeceased by her adoring parents Thomas and Leona Graczyk, and her brother Robert Schlosser.

Karen is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Arnold, daughter Heidi Heiberg (Kris), son Thomas Jensen, daughter Heather Yamonaco (Marvin, Jr.), son Shawn Jensen (Jessica), stepdaughter Meredith Clason (Dean), stepdaughter Jennifer Brest (John), stepdaughter Carolyn Arnold (Eli), brother Ronald Schlosser (Marilyn), and brother David Schlosser (Joan).

Karen is also survived by her grandchildren, Cameron Perez, Maddison Perez, Lauryn Perez, Michael Almekinder, Jamie Jensen, Jeremy Jensen, Daelen Heiberg, Connor Heiberg, Kylee Heiberg, and step-grandchildren Sophia and Emma Clason, and Jessica and Julia Brest, great granddaughter Arianna Almekinder, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

A Celebration of Karen’s life will be held Saturday, April 16, 2022, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Groover Funeral Home at Mansion Memorial Park, 1400 36th Avenue East, Ellenton, FL 34222.
