Donald Hilas Dooley Jr.

Don was born on August 21, 1948 to the late Donald H Dooley Sr. and Jane Dudley Dooley. He was the oldest of their four children .

He attended local South Burlington schools and graduated from the new South Burlington high school, a member of the first graduating class of 1966 .

After graduation he went to work for New England Telephone Company where he held several positions. In 2003 he retired from Verizon with 37 years of service. After retirement he was hired as a manager for Fairpoint Communications and enjoyed working with them for several years.

Don had the love for muscle cars and enjoyed driving them and keeping them in pristine condition. His favorite were Ford Mustangs.

In 2012, with his wife by his side he moved to Parrish, Florida and built the home of their dreams. He loved sitting by their beautiful pool. He was fortunate to meet many new friends in Florida and took up golf which he enjoyed.

He was predeceased by his father Donald H. Dooley Sr, his brother Thomas E. Dooley, and his grandson Bryan P. Krymlak.

He is survived by his loving wife and caregiver Paula and his mother Jane Dooley of Parrish, Florida. His sister Mary Pequignot (Michael) of Hadley, Ma.

Sister Donna Boyer(Bruce) of Parrish, FL.

Daughters Sherrie Sims (Ira Davis), Tammy Bernard (Daniel).

Grandsons Hunter (Kristin), Michael and Phillip

Granddaughters Courtney, Michelle and Mollie

He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and great grandchildren sprinkled from coast to coast in the USA and England as well.
