Parrish-Cheryl W Peggs, 76, passed away on February 11, 2024. She was born April 18, 1947 in Charleston, West Virginia, the daughter of Charles B and Juanita (Butcher) Williams, both predeceased.
Cheryl received her master’s in education from WVU and was a teacher throughout Harrison County, West Virginia. She married Donald “Bruce” Peggs and they celebrated 54 years of marriage.
Cheryl was an active member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Parrish, teaching Sunday School and participating in the youth sports program among many other things.
She is survived by her husband Donald, daughter Leisa (Jeff) Christafore, son Donald (Roxane) Peggs Jr., granddaughter Autumn Christafore and grandsons Ethan and Nathan Peggs.
A Memorial Service will be held 10 AM Saturday, February 17th at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 8305 US-301N, Parrish, FL 34219. Pastor Barry Campbell will be presiding over the service. Any flowers will need to be delivered to the church only on Saturday morning.
