Shirley BurgessShirley Rose Burgess, age 66, passed peacefully on March 25, 2014, at her Kittitas, WA home with her daughter, Pamela Rose Dobson, by her side. She was born August 6, 1947 in Billings, MT. After receiving a bachelor's degree in Accounting, she relocated to Ellensburg, WA where she worked at Central Washington University for 23 years. She was a talented pianist, gardener, seamstress, and quilter. Shirley had a marvelous, quirky sense of humor and quick wit that was much enjoyed by her family, friends and peers. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed. Shirley was preceded in death by her son, Andrew J.G. Dobson, of Issaquah, WA in 1996. She is survived by her daughter Pamela Rose Dobson and her grandchildren Kamarae Rose Dobson and Cameron E. Fogarty, all residing in San Diego, CA. We celebrate her memory and her life; may she rest in peace. As per her wish, a service will not be held. Her cremation arrangements were under the direction of Steward & Williams Tribute Center of Ellensburg, Washington.
