Nick was born June 14, 1948 in Baltimore, Maryland to Phyllis and Casper Lozzi. He is survived by his Loving Wife of 50 years, Kathy Lozzi, and their Children Vanessa Brukiewa (Jason) and Nicholas Lozzi (April). NIck is also survived by dear sister, Geraldine Emrich (Bud), and grandchildren Nick Lozzi, Olivia Lozzi, Grace Brukiewa, Taylor Hamel, Peyton Brukiewa, and Mason Lozzi. Nick is predeceased by his parents, Phyllis and Casper Lozzi; Sisters Sandra Wright and Joanne Hutchinson; and his beloved dog, Tony.
A true patriot, Nick dedicated four years of his life in service to his country, proudly serving in the Army during the Vietnam War. His commitment to duty reflected not only in his military service, but also in the unwavering love and support he provided to his family throughout the years. Nick had a zest for life and found joy in simple pleasures. He had a passion for beaches, with Aruba holding a special place in his heart. He loved to play golf with his family and friends and a connoisseur of speed, Nick loved the thrill of driving his Corvette. His eyes would light up with joy when spending time with his family, especially watching his grandchildren grow and playing sports together. Nick was a loyal fan of the Orioles, and his enthusiasm for the game was infectious. Whether cheering for his favorite team or enjoying a game with loved ones, his love for sports brought people together.
A visitation for Nicholas will be held Monday, November 20, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, 7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 1:00 at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Meadowridge Memorial Park.
