Jen, Shannon, Maura and all dear ones of Mike: Ongoing prayers during these most difficult days.  Grace and hope to you.

Just a shock to hear of your loss, Jennifer.  I had the good fortune to meet and work with Mike in Denver in 2006, and we hit it off and became good friends, remaining linked in the years following by our mutual background with business systems consulting.  Mike was so eager to assist my son in his interest in USAFA (not to mention their joint interest in Rugby) that he arranged for a special audience with academy admissions in the summer of 2006.  Although my son never attended USAFA, he was motivated by Mike's intellectual enthusiasm, as well as his love for the sport.

Mike continued to be a Facebook buddy all these last ten years, each following the others progress in business and family affairs.  And it is still such a shock to have learned of his passing.  He was my one true "Zoomie" friend, and he will be missed.  May God bless you and your girls.

I was so sorry to hear about Mike.  You and your family will definitely be in our prayers.  Mike was a great guy all around.  I think everybody in our class at the Academy knew him or knew of him at the least.  He will definitely be missed.  Praying for you.

Just thinking of the Flynn family today.  Michael spent many weekends at our home when he was a cadet we sponsored and got to know him well over his four years at the Academy.  It is always difficult to lose someone but to lose someone so suddenly is especially hard.  Our family send our thoughts and prayers during this time.

I first met Mike in grade school. He was one of those guys who you knew was simply a good guy. I then met up with him again at MSJ and had a couple of classes with him.  He was smart as a whip and going to the AF academy proved it.  I lost touch with him over the years, but reconnected with him at our 20 year reunion. I always looked forward to his commentary on Facebook, and his pictures of the family.  His love and devotion to his ladies was evident. When I saw the notice on Facebook I was stunned.  I had constantly told myself to stop by his new shop just to say "Hi.", but kept putting it off and now... We will keep you all in our prayers, knowing full well that he is looking over us from on high.  May he rest in peace with God.

Mike was a terrific person and strong supporter and contributor to the USAFA.  We served together on the Association of Graduates Alumni Board and he was a breath of fresh air and valued board member. Usually late, but never absent, Mike was the most devoted person I ever met.  Devoted to his family, to his friends, to his faith, and to his country.  He was 100% committed to every belief and endeavor he poured himself into.  Many of my fondness memories growing up directly involved something that Mike orchestrated or gladly supported.  Quick to anger, but exponentially quick to love; his quick wit always made him so much fun to be around.  To Mike's family, your kindness always made me feel like a Flynn brother and son. I will miss my friend immensely.
