Elizabeth (Betty) M. Anderson passed peacefully on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at 98. Betty was born, raised, and passed away in Elkridge, Maryland. Betty was born on March 29, 1925 to the late Harry S. Anderson, Sr. and Tish M. Anderson (nee Clifford). She was predeceased by her brother Harry S. Anderson, Jr. She leaves behind her sister-in-law Susan M. Anderson, niece Tish M. Anderson and family, cousins Kathleen M. Mapp and family, and Sharon L. Chism and family.
Betty worked at the B&O/CSX Railroad for 42 and a half years. She enjoyed traveling, attending regular luncheons with her friends, attending masses and activities at St. Augustine Church, and exercising with her friends at the Elkridge Senior Center. She loved to drive and visit her family and friends in Ocean City, Maryland, Atlantic City, New Jersey, and Sarasota, Florida.
A graveside service for Elizabeth will be held Thursday, September 14, 2023 at 12:15 PM at Meadowridge Memorial Park, 7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075.
