Doris Elaine Cusick

Doris Elaine Cusick, age 80, of Halethorpe, Maryland passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2024.

Doris is survived by her Loving Husband of 51 years, Carlton Winston Cusick; Beloved Children Dotty Marcella Fefel (Jay Fefel), Russell Lee Cusick, and Carol Ann Davis (Steven Davis); Dear Siblings Betty Scherer, William Joseph Davenport, Jr., Gloria Jean Cusick, and Deborah Susan Davenport; Cherished Grandchildren Amanda Margaret Fefel (Shanna Smith), Ashley Elizabeth Fefel, Tyler Lee Cusick, Zachary Andrew Davis; Bonus Daughter Bonnie Houck, and her children Joey, Steven, and Olivia; Daughter-in-law Lori; and fur baby Peanut.

Doris is predeceased by her parents, William and Margaret Davenport, and her sister Patty Williams.

Doris was known for her love and kindness, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer a listening ear. She cherished family dinners, a nightly tradition that brought her loved ones together over her delicious meals, including her famous meatballs, meatloaf, and stuffed peppers.

Christmas was a special time for Doris, as she took great joy in decorating her home from floor to ceiling, creating a festive atmosphere that brought everyone together. Her spirit shone brightly during the holidays, reflecting her deep love for family and connection.

A devoted church attendee for many years, Doris found solace and community in her faith. She also enjoyed her time watching the Game Show Network, especially her favorite show, Press Your Luck, where she delighted in the thrill of the game.

Doris leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and cherished memories.

A visitation for Doris will be held Thursday, September 26, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at MMP, Inc., 7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075. A funeral will be held Friday, September 27, 2024 at 12:00 PM, 7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park.
