Janet Lee Redstone

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Janet enjoyed scented candles, cats, puzzles, needle point cross stitch, and word games. She loved tending to her flowers, sitting outside, and sunbathing. She loved her children and grandchildren dearly, and always enjoyed cooking for family on special occasions.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary McGee Beck and her step-father, Larry Beck; one son, Phillip “Chop” Helm, Jr.

Janet is survived by her husband of 34 years, James “Jim” Redstone; children, Meleia Thompson, Jessica Helm, Joseph Helm, Adrianne and Katie Helm, Jimmy (Lisa) Redstone, Jr., Michael Redstone, Craig (Brittany) Redstone, and Johanna (Konstantin) Semerikov; three brothers, David Schaffer, Michael (Sandy) Schaffer, and Larry (Rachel) Beck; one sister, Kathy (Mike) Murray; her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jayme, Amber, Mason, Dakota, Lilly, Josi, Lauren, Tatum, Jeffrey, Wesley, Xzavior, Cody, Rylie, Brianna, Noah, and Hunter; and nine great-grandchildren.

The funeral is Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at 12:30 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.

Visitation will be Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. and continues after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Burial follows the funeral service at 2:30 p.m. at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery in Radcliff.
