Velma Chamberlain Chamberlain Young

Velma Chamberlain Young, 93, passed away in El Paso on December 26, 2011. She was born October 12, 1918in Baird, Texas, the daughter of John and Myrtle Chamberlain. She is preceded in death by her husband Clifford G. Young and two brothers, Orville Chamberlain and Dwain Chamberlain. She is survived by a daughter Kay Babb and her husband Kent of Austin, Texas, and grandson Wes Babb and his wife Denise of Austin; a granddaughter, Laurie Wittman of Austin; two great grandchildren, Kennedy Babb and Chase Babb, and several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Regency of El Paso for the loving care Velma received while living there. A Memorial service will be held on Friday, December 30, 2011 at 4:30 PM at Martin Funeral Home West. In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of choice.
