Tracy Lorraine Denny

Passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023.

Tracy was born in Aylesbury, England on May 8th, 1975, to John and Pat Vallance. She grew up in Hemel Hempstead, England and graduated from The Cavendish School there in 1992. Tracy met her husband Mike on a blind date and the two married on December 2nd 1998, while in California. Tracy then moved there with nothing more than two suitcases. She supported her husband through a career in the military and raised two beautiful daughters, Heather and Ashleigh.

Tracy worked at the Tractor Supply company for many years, but after her husband’s military retirement she began her true passion of working with animals. She was eventually able to start a rescue ranch, caring for animals that had been orphaned or injured. She spent many long nights nursing those that badly needed her back to health. Her ranch was her happy place and she found true joy in seeing those that she cared for thrive and run again.

Tracy always found a way to improve someone’s life around her. Whether it was handing out tents and sleeping bags to the homeless or giving a baby animal the care it needed for a second chance. Her smile was addictive and always made you feel better when seeing it. She had a spirit that was uplifting to everyone around her, and she was always able to find the positive in a situation. Her favorite quote was “Attitude is everything, pick a good one”.

We will forever miss her and may never understand why she was taken from us so soon. But rest assured that she would tell us all to dry our eyes and not cry for her, but to have a beer and remember the good times. Remember the smiles, the laughs, and to always “look on the bright side of life”.

Tracy is preceded in death by her father, John Vallance. She is survived by her husband Mike and two daughters, Heather Roman and Ashleigh Denny. Tracy is also survived by her mother Pat Vallance and sisters and brother. Myra Couzens, Sam Vallance, and Gary Ward.

Please join us in remembrance of Tracy during a Celebration of Life service on January 13th, 2024, at 2pm. The service will be held at Tracy’s home, Deer Run Ranch. Located at 3001 E. Silver Fern Rd, El Paso Tx
