Santiago Vasquez “Chago” was born January 19, 1941 to Santiago and Juanita Vasquez in Laredo, Texas.He peacefully passed away on July 18, 2022. He attended public school in Webb County. Where he went on to join and serve his country as part of the United States Armed Forces between 1964 through 1968. He then graduated from the University of Texas in El Paso with a Bachelors in Business Administration. Working successfully for the Internal Revenue Services as an auditor. And then going to own his own business called Ad Pros.
Santiago was a member of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Lions Club in El Paso, serving his
community at all times. He had a passion for golfing and playing pool in his spare time.
Santiago is preceded in death by his parents, Santiago Sr and Juanita Vasquez. He is survived by his loving
wife Rosa Vasquez of 47 years, his two sons Adrian and Victor Vasquez and his grandson Jovanni Vasquez. His sister Pilar Vasquez and many nephews and nieces.
A visitation will be held on Monday August 1, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a vigil at 6:00pm at
CrestView Funeral Home 1462 N. Zaragoza Rd. A funeral mass will take place Tuesday August 2, 2022 at 9:00 am St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church 10970 Bywood Dr. with an interment immediately following at Fort Bliss Cemetery 5200 Fred Wilson Ave.
