Salvador Hernandez Sr.

Our Beloved Father and Husband, Mr. Salvador “Chacho” Hernandez died peacefully on July 19, 2016 in El Paso, Texas at the age of 70. Chacho is survived by his Wife: Irma M. Hernandez; Children: Salvador Hernandez Jr. (Justine), Irma Hernandez, Grandchildren, Esteban C. Carreon, Brandon Gonzalez, Ethan, and Noah Hernandez; Siblings, Elodia Alvarez, Cruz “Juni” Hernandez Jr; and Rodolfo “Chopy” Hernandez. He is preceded in death by Parents: Cruz and Josefina Hernandez, Siblings: Jose Roberto Hernandez, Evangelina Castro, Emma Diaz, Roberto Hernandez, and Isela Priego. Chacho was born on November 2, 1945 in El Paso, Texas. He was a Proud Graduated from Bowie High School in 1964. Chacho was a dedicated man who loved being a Father, Grandfather, and an Active Member of Bowie Class of ’64, Bowie Class of the 60’s, and Bel Air Optimist Club. His boisterous laugh will be missed. Visitation will be on Monday, July 25, 2016 from 5-9pm with the Vigil/Rosary at 7:00pm at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 N. Carolina. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at 9:00am at San Antonio de Padua with Interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery
