Ruben is survived by his wife, Debra Kay Ortega; his son Joshua Ortega (Samantha); his son John Ortega; his son Alex Chavez; and his daughter Stephanie Davis (Simon).
Ruben was preceded in death by his daughter Sharon Ortega; his father Jose Jesus Ortega and his mother Guadalupe Lechuga; his brother Joe Ortega.
Mr. Ortega leaves 5 grandchildren to cherish his memory.
A visitation for Ruben will be held Monday, August 15, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hillcrest Funeral Home - West, 5054 Doniphan Drive, El Paso, TX 79932. A prayer service will occur Monday, August 15, 2022 at 6:00 PM at Hillcrest Funeral Home-West, 5054 Doniphan Dr., El Paso, Texas 79932. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at 11:30 AM at Calvary Chapel Sun City, 960 W. Borderland Rd., El Paso, TX 79932.
Ruben will be laid to rest in Anthony Community Cemetery, N. 4th Street, Anthony, New Mexico 88021.
