I worked with Roger from 1989 to 2014.  We worked shoulder to shoulder on some really tough projects.  I was always amazed at how smart he was.  I swear he had a photographic memory.  He had a knack for troubleshooting, and he showed me some of his troubleshooting tricks.  Solving problems wasn't his only talent he also was a creator.  He created some really rugged and practical testing devices that worked very well and help make the programs at Boeing successful.  He was fun to work with and I considered him a very close friend.  In fact, when I was laid off, he was one of the few that kept in touch with me and cared about how I was doing, because he knew the layoff was tough on me.   I miss the morning bird (inside story) and his fun personality and friendship; may he rest in peace.

Dear Mrs. Hall and Carson:
I was so sorry to hear about Roger and his untimely passing. I was sorry we didn't keep in touch over the years, but with the distance and family it was sure to happen. Please extend my sympathy to his son, that looks so much like him, it is too much. I hope he had a good life and was happy. I always wished him the best and happiness. I'm sure you miss him very much. You will be in my prayers.
