Roberto Resendez, 81, went to be with the Lord on March 7, 2016. Although he has left this world, he did not leave our hearts.
He is survived by his wife, Irene Resendez. They were married for 32 years. He is also survived by his son Michael A. Resendez and step-children Yolanda Miranda, Linda Hernandez, George Hernandez and Oscar Navarro, 10 grand-children and 9 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and mother †Concepcion and †Antonio Resendez, his son †Robert Resendez, Jr., and his brother †Rodolfo (Rudy) Resendez. Roberto was born on November 19, 1934 in El Paso, Texas. He was raised in the Ysleta area and worked for many years at Asarco. He also worked as a pipe-fitter in numerous construction sites in El Paso and New Mexico.
