Robert Landon Menchaca Jr.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Landon Menchaca, who tragically left us on November 15, 2024, at the age of 17. Robert was a beloved son, brother, grandson, and friend who brought joy and warmth to everyone who knew him.

Born to Lucyiliana Piercy and Robert Menchaca, Robert’s light shone brightly in the lives of his family and friends. He was cherished by his grandparents, Lorenzo and Rita Menchaca, as well as Ruben and Maria Arroyo. Robert will be deeply missed by his siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, and an extensive circle of friends who loved him dearly.

Robert was a proud student at El Paso Academy West, where he excelled and nurtured his aspirations of joining the United States Marine Corps upon graduation. He worked diligently at the El Paso Country Club, demonstrating his strong work ethic and determination. Robert was known for his infectious smile, his dedication to fitness, and his passion for spending time at the gym.

Though his time with us was far too brief, Robert's legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering positivity will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with a Rosary at 7:00 PM, at Funeraria Del Angel Hillcrest West Funeral Home, 5054 Doniphan Dr., El Paso, Texas 79932.

A Mass will be held in his honor on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Queen of Peace, 1551 Belvidere St., El Paso, Texas 79912.

Robert, your beautiful spirit will be greatly missed by all who loved you. May you rest in peace.
