Renee Mitchell

Renee is survived by her husband of 36 years, Kenneth Mitchell; her son Jonathan Mitchell and his wife, Maria Mitchell; her daughter Naomi Donadieu; her sister Sabrina Pogorzelski and her husband, Craig Pogorzelski; and her granddaughter Amy Mitchell.

She is predeceased by her parents, Frank and Rachel McCormick.

Renee was an avid artist, painting multiple canvases, crafting pottery, and most recently engaging in embroidery and sewing. Finally, she helped cut decorative tiles for home construction projects with family friend, Naji Hajjar. She loved animals, none more than horses: her babies Holly the quarter horse, Skye the Friesian, and Lacy the mini survive her.

Renee loved charitable contributions. She did volunteer work at the El Paso Rescue Mission with her close friend, Oralia Cardenas. She gave to charities, and supported children seeking college educations.

A breast cancer survivor, Renee was a trooper in the worst of situations, and had a loving, adventurous attitude in the best of times.
