Paul was born on December 7, 1997 with severe Cerebral Palsy, an insidious condition for which there is no cure. He battled the condition his entire life. Because of this, Paul was dependent on a communication device (talker), a wheelchair, and other assistive devices. Despite his limitations, Paul attended Catechism and received his First Holy Communion. He loved attending Mass at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church. Paul loved school (no one ever loved school more) and graduated from Eastwood High School in 2017. He participated in Miracle League baseball, holding down third base for close to ten years. He enjoyed going to movies, driving his powerchair through Bassett Center, reading, city bus rides to downtown, attending Diablos and Chihuahua baseball games, and UTEP football and basketball games at his season ticket spots, and attending Camp Everyone Talks.
Paul was well known at school and at church, to his therapists, and to friends and family for his great sense of humor, for his deep blue eyes and dark hair, his wonderful smile and expressive face.
Paul leaves behind his parents, Robert Ramey and Freda Nebhan Ramey, his grandmother Mary Nebhan, his aunts and uncles Katie and Phil Boden, Liz and Lee Gallivan, Marlene and Henry Kaim, and Jane and Bill Yearout, and numerous cousins and friends.
