Nancy K. Hanson was born in New Jersey to Robert Peyton+ and Ethel Midgley+ and had a brother+ and sister+. Nancy attended Juilliard Performing Arts. After her travels over America, she found a home in El Paso where she met the love of her life, Ramon (Joe) Hanson+, being fully committed to Joe, never remarried, they were blessed with 7 Children, JoAn, Edna Mae, Patricia, Ramon+, Eric, Virginia+, and William (Bill). She was a beacon of light to 19 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Her endless compassion, generosity, kind nature, have deeply impacted our family and will forever be adored. Nancy achieved one accomplishment after another, working hard all her life, becoming the manager of 8 stores, a warehouse business owner, a real estate agent, building hundreds of homes for lower income families, as the Executive Director of Lower Valley Housing which gave her great pleasure making it possible for people to live the American dream. Nancy left a very strong and powerful mark, a trail blazer, and a pioneer helping people at every opportunity. Nancy leaves behind her many merits and accolades; her teachings and cherished memories will live on through her family. She was President of the Pilot Club and a long time member of St. Albans Church. Services will be held at St Alban’s Episcopal Church, 1810 Elm Street, at 10 am Friday January 27th, 2023 and 1:30 pm at Ft. Bliss Cemetery.
