Maria Gloria Loya passed away September 5th, 2022, peacefully surrounded by her family. She was born April 2, 1944, in El Paso, TX. Gloria worked a very long and successful career in the Retail Sales business well into her late seventies. Gloria loved interacting with her clients and she had an extremely strong work ethic to provide for her most cherished children Ruben Hidalgo and Raquel Hidalgo. Gloria lived a very religious life and was a very devout Catholic parishioner. We will always remember her attending mass and constantly praying and Blessing all her siblings, nieces, and nephews. She was a woman with a very positive outlook on life; full of love, laughter, patience, and compassion. Gloria loved family gatherings, music and dancing. The numerous individuals she encountered throughout her long, joyful, and happy life will warmly remember her many attributes and her beautiful smile. Gloria was happiest when surrounded by family and friends. Left to cherish her memory are her siblings Armando F. Loya, Olga Vidalez, Larry Loya, Alfredo Loya, Sylvia Johnson, Elinora Herrera, Yvonne Moreno, Diana Padilla, Sylvester Loya. Daughter in-law Maribel Hidalgo, Glorias grandchildren Christina Esther Gonzalez, Angelica Maribel Hidalgo, and Ruben Hidalgo III. Great Grandchildren Rylan, Sophia, Emma, Elih, and Dennis.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, September 10th, 2022 with Rosary at 2 p.m, Viewing at 3 p.m and Chapel Service 4 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Evergreen Funeral Home 12400 Montana Ave, El Paso, TX. 79938.
