Maria Luz Gutierrez passed away on Friday, October 28, 2022. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband Eliseo, four sisters and two brothers. She is survived by her children Eliseo and wife Celia, Patricia and husband Harlan, Alfredo and wife Holly, Diego and wife Carol, and Cynthia. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was born in Miami AZ, and moved to Cd. Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico in 1931. She worked for Farah mfg. a few years before she married. She loved dancing, and participating in family functions and she was dedicated to her household. Her home of 67 years on Medina Street will not be the same without her as she will be dearly missed.
Services will be at the Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 N. Carolina, El Paso, TX 79915 on Saturday Dec. 17, 2022 from 10AM to 2 PM with a rosary service at 11 AM. There will be a funeral mass on Monday Dec. 19, 2022 at Santo Nino de Atocha 210 Clark St. El Paso, TX 79905 with inurnment at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
