Maria Elena Guerra

Maria E. Guerra of El Paso, Tx, formally of Lordsburg, NM, is now united with her beloved husband Andres Guerra JR, and son Andres Guerra lll and grandson Armani Ortiz. She passed away peacefully on Monday, Dec. 21, 2015 after a long fight with cancer in which her body could no longer keep up with her strong will to live.

Nena was a homemaker, a loving wife and amazing mother. She will be remembered as a strong woman who kept her family together throughout the holidays and opened her doors to all.

She is survived by her daughters Rosa M. Ortega (Manny), Angelica M. Chavez (Joe), Marisela Guerra (Oscar) and son Arturo Guerra. Also her grandkids Santana, Samantha, Andrea, Cyrus, Jasmin, Marco, Ariana, Bianca and GianCarlo. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, Tuesday, December 29, 2015 with a 7:00pm vigil at Martin Funeral Home Central. Funeral Mass will be held at 1:30pm, Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic. Burial will follow to Evergreen East Cemetery.
