Maria L. Gonzalez, 94, born on October 9, 1919 in El Paso, Texas passed away on September 25, 2014 in El Paso, Texas. Maria was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Refugio Gonzalez.She is survived by her sons, Ricardo, Jose A., and Jorge Castaneda and daughter, Hilda Montes. She is also survived by her sister, Aurora Gonzalez. Maria leaves fifteen grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren to cherish her memory. Visitation will be on Monday, September 29, 2014 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Hillcrest Funeral Home Carolina with a Vigil at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at 12:30 pm at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Interment will immediately follow at Evergreen East Cemetery.
