Maria L. Aguirre

Maria L. Aguirre 91, passed away on Friday, November 27, 2015 after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s. She was a life-long resident of El Paso, Texas and a member of Little Flower Parish. She enjoyed cooking and gardening. Maria is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Rodolfo Aguirre and her son-in-law Thomas J. Rodriguez Sr. She is survived by her 2 daughters: Sylvia I. Aguirre (Manuel Carreon) and Susanna Rodriguez; grandchildren: Glenda I. Navarro-Walker (Terry), Rita M. Aguirre (Robert Estrada), Thomas J. Rodriguez Jr. (Edith), Patrick Rene Rodriguez, Andrea Inez Zamora (Gilbert); great-grandchildren: Thomas J. Rodriguez III, Jade E. Rodriguez, Jude Isaiah Navarro-Walker, Joziah Cole Navarro-Walker, Jaidyn James Zamora, Jazel Dynasty Zamora and Tatum Thomas Zamora and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the director and staff at the Alzheimer’s unit at Bienvivir for all their wonderful care and support. We will miss you dearly, Rest in Peace Mom, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and beloved friend. Visitation will be from 5-9 pm on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Hillcrest Funeral Home-Carolina with a Vigil at 7 pm. Funeral Mass will be at 12:45 pm on Friday, December 4, 2015 at Little Flower Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
