Maria was preceded in death by her husband, Jose G. Aguirre and their daughter, Rebecca Aguirre.
Maria is survived by her son Richard Aguirre (Maria); her daughter Norma Aguirre; her grandchildren, Liz Huereque (Paul), Michael Aguirre (Rachel), Ceci Aguirre, Lillian Aguirre, Amy Aguirre, Christy Perez (Fred), Lucy Aguirre, and Paul Albert Perez; as well as her 17 Great-Grandchildren and 8 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Maria was an LVN and worked in a nursing home until retirement. She loved to travel and was a devoted Jehovah’s Witness for most of her life. Her faith and service to Jehovah never wavered, and those who knew her, knew about her love for Jehovah God. For the last five years, Maria’s care was entrusted to the Casa Primavera Foster Home.
Maria will be missed by her family and friends.
Visitation and Service will be held on Sunday, November 14, 2021, from 5-9 p.m. at the Hillcrest Funeral Home East (1060 N. Carolina Drive, El Paso, TX 79915). Visitation will be Monday, November 15, 2021, at Hillcrest Funeral Home East at 9:30 a.m. Procession will leave to Ft. Bliss National Cemetery (5200 Fred Wilson Ave. Fort Bliss, TX 79906) at 10:00 a.m. The non-military funeral service will begin at 10:30 a.m.
