Lydia W. Saldaña passed away on January 15, 2016. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, aunt and sister. Lydia devoted her life to her family and leaves behind a legacy of selfless and unconditional love. Her children will remember her saying, " Para mí, mis hijos son primeros".
The kitchen was her favorite room of the house and she put her heart in each meal that she made. She never knew the limits of a language barrier because she showed her love with actions in addition to words.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gregorio, son Jorge and granddaughter Vanessa. She is survived by children: Jose (Elvia), Jaime (Esperanza), Leticia (Frank Pickering) Yolanda (Alfredo Soltero) and Daniel. Grandchildren: Rodolfo, Claudia, Susy, Becky, Jose Jr., Jaime Jr., Sergio, Diana, Veronica, Yolanda, Leticia Marie, Frank Jr. and John. Great grandchildren: Nathan, Elijah, Johnathan, Jared, Joshua, Delilah, Savannah, Isaiah, Rebekah, Desiree, Fabian, Abby, Fernanda, Angela Gabriela, Alex, Amber, Anthony, Esai, Elida, Hector, Andrea, Alexandra, Alyssa, Andres, Antonio, and Alfredo Armando. Great great grandchildren: Sebastian, Saleen Ivy, Jayden and Naomi. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at 12 noon at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Cremation Services to be held at a later date. Arrangements by Funeraria Del Angel Martin Central.
