Joseph went to the Lord on September 4, 2014. He was born and raised in Lebanon. Joseph had been a business man all his life, immigrated to USA in 1975. He settled in El Paso where he established his business with the rest of the family. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Khalil and Eugenie Karam; sisters, Marie K. Merheb, Jano K. Karam, Therese K. Clark, Gizelle J. Merheb, and Krystel T. Merheb. He is survived by his siblings, Elias K. Karam (Madeleine), Andre K. Karam, Andree K. Martin (Jim), Jamal K. Swayze (Shelby), Cecile K. Karam, John K. Karam (Sally), George K. Karam (Margot), Gaby K. Karam (Kimberly), Rudi K. Karam. Outliving nieces and nephews, Karl E. Karam, Genie E. Karam, Krystal J. Karam, Jessica K. Hammer (Chris), Johnny J. Karam, Daniel J. Karam, Michelle K. Mouhanna (Toni G. Mouhanna), Jeannine Bounader, Collette Dweyer; great nephews and nieces, Cibelle and Crystel Bounader, Elie T. Merheb, Mike and Marie Dweyer, Kayden and Gareth Hammer, Addison M. Karam, George T. Mouhanna. Visitation will be held Monday, September 8, 2014 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a Wake Service at 7 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home West, 128 N. Resler. Funeral Liturgy will be held Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Family Church on Missouri St. with Msgr. Don Sawyer and Rev. George Karam officiating. Interment will follow at the Masonic Cemetery. Special thanks to the family Dr. Arturo Castro and to all the dedicated staff at Horizon Nursing Facility. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Joseph to St. Sharbel Maronite Church. Services entrusted to Martin Funeral Home West.
