My beloved Joseph De Florio passed onto eternal life on Saturday May 29, 2021. Joseph was born in Molfetta, Italy and was predeceased by his parents Martha and Savario DeFlorio and his brother Franco and in law's Antoinette & Salvatore Ceccarelli.
Joseph arrived in the U.S. in 1963 and served in the U.S. Army and Vietnam. He reached the rank of Specialist Five, and was honorably discharged in 1974. He was a kind and peaceful person always ready to help others. He had a humorous nature especially with those he loved.
Joseph leaves behind his devoted and loving wife Anna (Parisi) DeFlorio, brother- in- law Daniel Parisi (Dora), sister -in-law Maria Agresti (Patrick) and his loving nieces and God Children Ciara Ann Agresti(Kevin) and Jacqueline Antoinette Parisi. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Joseph, between right and wrong there is a garden...one day I will meet you there my love, Anna.
A Service with Military Honors will be held on Friday June 18, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home West, 5054 Doniphan Dr El Paso, TX 79932.
Donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or St. Jude Child Children's Research Hospital.
