Jose Alfredo Aguilar

AGUILAR, Jose Alfredo passed away peacefully in a local hospital on Friday, October 30, 2015 at the age of 68. He was born in Ciudad Camargo, Chihuahua, Mexico on December 8, 1946 to Mariano Aguilar and Ernestina Ramirez. He graduated from the Universidad Autonoma de Chihuahua with a degree in Civil Engineering. After working several engineering jobs in Ciudad Juarez and El Paso, he moved to Puerto Rico in 1988 to work with Autoridad de Carreteras until his retirement in 2010. Jose Alfredo was preceded in death by his parents, Mariano and Ernestina, his brother, Mariano, and his beloved daughter Elsa. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Maria del Refugio, his daughters Sarah and Irais, his sister Josefina, his nephew Mariano, his nieces Lillian, Janeth and Irma, his mother-in-law Guadalupe and other family members. Though a man of few words, Jose Alfredo touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed. Visitation will be Thursday, November 5, 2015 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at Hillcrest Funeral Home-Carolina with a Vigil at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 am on Friday, November 6, 2015 at San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
