Throughout life we are introduced to people that shine brighter than a supernova, who love deeper than the subterranean of the ocean, and who are as sweet as the amber energy of mercury rising. On September 3, 1968, Jessica Ruby Arellano entered into this world in a blaze of glory and was abruptly taken away from us all before the break of dawn on Wednesday March 10, 2021. While in the vastness of our universe, she wore a smile as wide as the ocean and as luminous as a starry sky. Jessica was a beautiful and intelligent woman who had the most magnanimous heart. Overflowing with compassion and love, she devoted her life to her family and friends wholly and unconditionally. Jessica loved to read and watch Korean dramas, and also found joy in being a grandma to her two grandchildren, Ezlo and Rosalina. Her kindness was like a hot air balloon, so full of fire and continuously flowing. She was a devoted wife, mother, and friend, and touched our lives to the very end. Jessica had a very playful and imaginative side to her, which led her to discover and play Animal Crossing. Jovial, captured the essence of her spirit. Effervescent, encompassed the beauty of her life. Significance, exuded from her like an intrepid rainfall. Surprising, encapsulated the effect she had on everyone she knew. Inspired, invited our souls into her heart. Captivating, inside and out. Amazing, she redefined what love is and redesigned what it means to be human. Jessica, outliving her father Wilson Brown is survived by her husband Sebastian Arellano, her five sons, David, Elias, Felipe, Jacob, and Jonathan; her mother, Olga Sanchez; her siblings, Gino Brown, Lori Lerma, and Priscilla Vasquez; and her best friend Lupe Martinez. Jessica will always be remembered, and never forgotten.
