Javier Enrique Sanchez, 49, passed away on July 15, 2022 surrounded by his family. He was born on August 19, 1972 in El Paso, Texas. He lived in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico as a child until him and his family moved back to El Paso in 1978.

Javier Enrique is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Aliris Sanchez, his children Vanessa Aliris Sanchez, Lauren Sarah Sanchez, Joshua Javier Sanchez, his mother Martha Sanchez and his siblings Martha and Ivan Sanchez, his goddaughter Angel Celeste Sanchez. He was also survived by the rest of his loving family. He is preceded in death by his Father Javier Enrique Sanchez Sr and his grandparents.

Javier Enrique was a very loving and caring man. He did everything and anything for his family and friends. His children referred to him as “daddy” and would call each other different names as terms of endearment. He called his oldest daughter mija jirafona, his middle daughter my lil monkey and his youngest son mijo hombresito. Javier was the jack of all trades. He was a master at the grill and he loved to cook. Everyone that tried his food loved every bite and always wanted seconds. He loved comedy movies and war movies. One of his favorite movies was Tombstone. He enjoyed watching football, especially watching the Pittsburgh Steelers. Javier worked for various companies and excelled in each one. He created many friendships and opened many doors because of his amazing persona. He had every answer to every problem or he would always try to find a solution. One of his favorite hobbies was playing pool, at which he was very skilled. He played in many leagues and won various awards. Everyone that encountered “Javi” has their own golden story that brings a smile to their face. His kids and wife were his world and just the five of them had some of the best times together. He was our protector and always will be.

He was a fighter since the moment he was born till the time he took his last breath. He always said he wanted to be one of God’s warriors and now he can finally be one. He was an important and huge part of his family’s life. He always made everyone laugh with his jokes and he himself had one of the best laughs anyone has ever heard. His family will continue to do everything in his honor and celebrate his life. We miss you so much Daddy. We are a part of you, so you will never be truly gone. We will live for you. You’re not suffering anymore and we are so proud of everything you got to accomplish while you were here. Thank you for living for us. We love you so much Daddy. May you rest in peace and again this is not a goodbye, it’s see you later.

A visitation for Javier will be held Monday, July 25, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Restlawn, 8817 Dyer, El Paso, TX 79904.
