Jacqueline Sullivan Borrett passed away peacefully at home on Friday, January 7, 2011. Born July 29,1917 in Detroit, Michigan she moved to El Paso shortly thereafter. She graduated from Austin High School. A lifelong member of the Episcopal Church, faithfully worshiping and serving at St. Alban’s, St. Christopher’s and St. Clement’s during her lifetime. Her husband George Ross Osborne Borrett preceded her in death. She is survived by her children: Bruce Borrett of Dallas, Texas, Douglas Borrett (Sally) of El Paso, Texas, Nancy Loiselle (Richard) of El Paso, Texas, Craige Borrett (Nancy) of Yonges Island, South Carolina and Brenda Thornburg (Bruce) of San Jose, California. She is survived by 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was the daughter of John T. and Norton Sullivan. Jackie, active in many civic and social organizations, spent her entire life in service to others. Her devotion to the care and comfort of others was the measure of her life. Always ready to lead, follow or join in, Jackie was ready to serve. She will be remembered for her commitments to family, friends, community and her service to the Lord. Her life will always be an inspiration to those she leaves behind. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren: Stuart and Alan Borrett, Melissa, Andrew and Amy Loiselle, Matthew, Jacob and Ally Borrett, Tyler, Reed and Austin Thornburg. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday January 14, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Church of St. Clement, 810 N.
