If you were lucky enough to know Gabe you knew he was the kind of person you instantly loved. My wife and I did not know Gabe long nor did we get to see him all that often but we were blessed to call him friend. Still dumbstruck, this sad news really hurts. Another beautiful person is gone and whether you knew Gabe a day or a decade he made you feel something positive inside of yourself. He had a Hollywood smile and a Mother Teresa heart. Our condolences go out to the Duran family. Gabe will be missed by many.

Gabriel was someone I knew only at work, but whose face made me smile anytime we'd work together or see each other briefly in passing.  Times we worked together were made more fun and full of laughs because of Gabriel.  I will genuinely miss his smile and looking forward to the times when we'd run into each other again.  His time here was all too brief and he will be missed terribly.

Gabe was a wonderful friend and coworker.   He made so many friends everywhere he went.   I will always remember flying with you my friend.  We had a blast.   My favorite memory is you , me and April Hopkins in Boston.    To his family, he touched so many lives and we will miss him.   We are praying for your peace at this time.
