Ernest is survived by his wife, Esmeralda Borrego; his son Joseph Albert Bela (Yolanda); his son Ernest Borrego Jr.; his son Michael Anthony Borrego (Megan); and his daughter April Marie Borrego-Valerio (Carlos).
Ernest is also survived by 4 grandchildren and his siblings.
A visitation for Ernest will be held Tuesday, September 27, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 North Carolina Dr., El Paso, Texas 79915. A rosary will occur Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at 6:00 PM, 1060 North Carolina Dr., El Paso, Texas 79915. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at 2:30 PM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, Fort Bliss, Texas 79906.
Ernest will be laid to rest in Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, Fort Bliss, Texas 79906.
