Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Dolores first became a resident of the. El Paso community in 1957 with the transfer and station of her loving husband Eddie at Fort Bliss. Dolores was a wonderful wife to Eddie for almost 63 years, a wonderful homemaker, loving mother, caring friend and dutiful church member at Mount Zion Baptist Church. She was also an excellent employee of the Popular Department Store for 27 years. Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband Eddie; two loving daughters Corliss L. Moragne (Edward) of Tallahasse, FL and Pamela G. Monteros of Tucson, AZ; one sister Yvonne Raphael of Oceanside, CA; two grandchildren Edward L. Moragne and Brittany R. Moragne of Tallahassee, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. The family would like to thank the many friends, near and far, and neighbors for their prayers and acts of kindness. Thanks is extended as well to both Odyssey Hospice and Soldale Foster Home for their help and assistance.
Visitation will be 6pm to 8pm on Thursday, June 23, 2011, at Martin
Funeral Home Central with a 7pm prayer service. Homegoing service
will be 11:45 am on Friday, June 24, 2011, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Interment to follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
