Christina Skinner

Our feisty and cherished mother and grandmother Christina Skinner passed away peacefully surrounded by her two daughters, sister, and other family members on May 31, 2014. Born May 30, 1928 in El Paso, TX, she was a life-long resident and loved attending events throughout the city. Tina was preceded in death by her Mother, 3 sisters, husband Donald Skinner and son-in-law Gabriel Martinez. She is survived by her daughters Helen Martinez and Irene Pistella (Andy); sister Lupe Rey; grandchildren Monica, Michael (Maricela), and Matthew Martinez and Christian and Jonathan Pistella; and great granddaughter Julia Martinez. She is also survived by her nephews Ernie, David, Eddie, and Charlie Rey, her loving niece Estella Escobar; a great extended family and many long-time friends. Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 Sunday, June 8, 2014 with a Rosary at 7 pm Martin Funeral Home Central. Funeral Mass will be held at 1:30 pm Monday, June 9, at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
