Cecilia "Ceci" Reyes

Cecilia (Ceci) Irene Reyes, 76, of El Paso, died on Monday, February 5, 2018. She was born November 22, 1941, in El Paso, Texas, to Roberto and Lencha Reyes. She was preceded in death by her father and sister, Yolanda Reyes. Ceci is survived by her mother; brother Roberto Reyes; niece Lorraine; nephew, Ron and wife Suzanne, three great-nieces, Alaina, Lyndsay and Rylee, dear family friends Nico and wife Chelo Silva and Elda Montes and cousins Rosemary and Andy Marquez, Irma and Bob Golembeski, Mercedes Mecias and Nona Lara. She loved her dog, Trixie and was a devoted daughter, sister and aunt. Ceci was the kindest, most positive person and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. The family would like to extend a special thank you for the care given to Ceci by Dr. Max Peralta. Ceci was a life-long resident of El Paso, Texas. She graduated from Austin High School, then worked in civil service at Fort Bliss for forty years thereafter. She was a cancer survivor whose strength and determination was admired by many. The visitation is from 8:00 AM until 9:15 AM on Saturday, February 10, 2018, at the Hillcrest Funeral Home on Carolina Drive. The funeral service will follow at 10:00 AM on February 10, 2018, at St. Ignatius Catholic Church on 408 Park Street. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
