Carlos was a proud US Navy veteran and served on the U.S.S. Lexington. After the service, Carlos worked at Farah Manufacturing where he met his loving wife Ramona of 63 years.
Carlos retired from Peter Eckrich and Sons after 20 years. After his retirement he attended EPCC where he obtained his certification for plastic injection molding. He went on to work at Epic Components until his second retirement.
He is survived by his wife Ramona Hernandez and their six children. Belen Ceballos, Carlos R. Hernandez, Gabriel Hernandez, Sophia Hernandez, Leonardo Hernandez and Jose Angel Hernandez (Rosa). He had nine grandchildren, Juan Carlos R. Ceballos (Emily), Veronica Montoya (Daniel), Samantha Zelocuatecatl (Ramses), Isis and Edmond Valadez, Charlie and Raymond Hernandez, Maria Carlos (Mundo) and Angel Hernandez. He also had 12 great grandchildren. Special family member Queta Hurtado and Juan Manuel Ceballos. Siblings Rita Estrada, Bertha Hernandez, +Gloria Vasquez, Jose Agustine Hernandez.

A catholic funeral mass will occur Thursday, March 7, 2024, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at SAN ANTONIO DE PADUA, 503 Hunter Dr, El Paso, TX 79915. A graveside service will occur Thursday, March 7, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Ft Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX 79904.
