He graduated from Las Cruces High School in 2001 and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering in 2006. He worked for private engineering, consulting, and construction companies and for the U.S. Government where he earned a position of a GS-14 level.
He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, shooting, country music, traveling, and driving his 64 Chevy Impala. He traveled to Canada, England, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, and France. He was a true NMSU Aggies and Atlanta Braves fan. Every year he traveled with his friends to the WAC Tournament and other sporting events. He also cherished the times he visited his parents in San Antonio and took pride in his bantering relationship with his sister. While in San Antonio, he valued the time he spent with Pastor Rick Gonzales.
He is survived by his parents, Clifford and Lydia Madrid, his sisters, Breena and Cindy, and his niece, Bethany along with uncles, aunts, cousins, and his favored uncle Rick Lovato of Cañones, NM.
